The heating mat provides an evenly heated area. To avoid any contact between the animals and the heating mat, the mat is placed outside the terrarium. To obtain a thermal slope, the heating surface will represent approximately 1/3 of the surface.
Do not cut, alter, soak the carpet, it is strongly recommended to use a thermostat to regulate the heat.
